The Dragon Mounts Mod is exactly as it sounds, it gives you hatch-able dragon eggs that can be tamed and ridden. Now you can get some use out of the egg you win from defeating the Ender Dragon. You’ll simply need to place the egg and right-click it. It’s best to place it in an enclosure you’d like to keep the dragon in. Over a great length of time it will eventually hatch into a baby dragon.
It will grow on its own and once it does grow up it can then be tamed using raw fish. Then it will follow and protect you just like dogs and cats. And you can train them to sit by using a bone and right-clicking.
Your new dragon pet will need a saddle for you to be able to ride it. Then just right-click and you’re off. But the neat part about riding the dragon is that you don’t always need to fly it. You can walk around like a horse or tap the ‘r’ key and it’ll start flying. R will make you go up and F will make you go down. You can even enable auto-flight/walking by equipping a carrot on a stick while riding.

This mod looks like the coolest mod ever it will protect you to and will it try to kill you at any point?
I wasn’t immediately attacked when it hatched so I don’t think they are hostile by default. Although it did attack another Dragon that hatched shortly after.

Well I Know A Lot Of Things About This Mod The Dragon Is Not A Hostile Mob Even Is Not Tamed Or Hit
Also You Can Heal Your Dragon If It Is Low Health Using Raw Fish.You Can Make It Sit Down By Right Clicking
It With A Bone.

The descriptions for breeding are as follows:
(breeding requirements(i.e. water, lava, ice) should be next to egg when right clicked)
Ender – No special blocks around egg
Forest – Tree trunk next to egg (or flower?)
Water – water next to egg
Fire – lava next to egg
Ice – ice next to egg (not packed ice. Ive tried, it doesnt work)
Ghost – Light level zero (not required to go to bedrock to breed, just zero light level)
Nether – NetherRack next to egg
Aether – Very High Up (Go up so high, that for sure youll die from falling: way above the clouds to be sure)

IN dungons mine shafts or there is a type of stone hedge circle randomly in the world there as rare as a strong hold I LOVE THIS MOD BY THE WAY!!! 🙂

How many can u get in a world, is it only one after you defeat the ender dragon, or can you get more rom dungeons and temples or such?

You wait for the egg to hatch, it should take about 2 minecraft days. Or use commands to use egg mature
You get the egg to hatch by right clicking it but first make a hatching place for it (i.e. Fire, Water etc.) based on the type of dragon you want THEN right click it
Can someone please help, I have waited for them to hatch, but then I turn my back for 1 sec and then turn back to them and they are eggs again?! Someone please help! also, every egg i place ends up being a fire dragon when they should be other ones….
I’m in a plains biome and no where near clouds and yet I can only seem to get Aether dragons. I can also get Ghost & Forest dragons, but now Ice, Fire, Water, Nether or even the normal Ender dragon one! I’ve used commands but it keeps turning right back to an Aether. Anyone have an idea on what I can do ?
after the egg has hatched stand in front of the dragon and use the command: /dragon breed forest
I have the same problem with the Fire Dragon. I tried to hatch it in the middle of the dessert surrounded by lava so it’s plenty hot. But it always turns into a forest dragon.
When I try to fly down with the F key it does not work…
1. Go to controls.
2. There should be “Dragon Mounts”.
3. Change the F key to anything else by pressing that button.
4. Go out of options.
5. Press that button to go down.
can you breed dragons?( I can`t get the mod to test it out, by the way).do they always attack dragons of the same kind?
Umm, so, I tame my dragon then it automatically sits down. I try feeding it a bone ( And a fish ) But it never stands up. Help?
I had the opposite problem. reinstalling the mod (you dont have to load the save) worked for me

They should have special breath attacks left click for a spray right click for a blast that explodes and they have there own animations the spray attacks would give a potion affect like the ice one would give you slowness grass posion fire burns ghost blindess air nausea water weakness nether wither ender instant damage and they should get 100 health

I installed the mod but I can’t find the egg. I can only get it after killing the Ender Dragon, which is really inconvenient because then I can’t push the egg into the sky to make an Aether dragon! PLEASE HELP ME!

it is in the place where water and lava in your inventory in bottom
you need to hit it until its on a breakable block, then dig down three blocks beside it, and at the bottom of the three blocks, mine once towards the block three blocks below the dragon egg, then put a torch there,
or you can just put a piston beside it facing towards it, activate the piston, and boom,
those are the two ways (that i know of) to collect it as an item, so you can place it anywhere! (that you can place a normal block)
I can’t get the egg anywhere! I can’t find it in chests and it’s not in my inventory but the mod DOES work because it hatches when I kill the Ender Dragon, but I want to be able to just place it! I need some advice plz!
the only way to get is egg is killing the ender dragon sorry. But u can go into creative and search it up or kill it in creative then switch it to survival. A good Youtuber to watch is Poppularmmos. He made a video on how to get all the dragons.

Maybe try feeding them fish? It may just be a skin glitch.
So my dragon is fully grown, I give it fish but it doesn’t let me put on a saddle, i might try waiting a bit longer just to see if its fully grown or no. I will tell you if i need to wait a bit longer or if it’s a glitch.

Tried feeding dragon fish to breed and couldn’t feed it after only breeding once (I waited a while in between) anyone know the reason?
maybe it wasn’t hungry or it had all of its health, so there was no need for it to eat.
So I have attack of the b team and I’m on a LAN server playing with a friend, I have no problems hatching and taming the dragons. But when my friend places one down and tamed it (it had red hearts) it still said the dragon didn’t follow her commands… when I went to go see only I was Able to control it. We tested it again and the same thing happened. Please help

I really love this mod and it has been a staple mod in my game for a while now. I recently updated to 1.10.2 and got the corresponding version of the mod, but they changed the flight controls. now instead of using R and F to go up and down, you fly it based on the direction you look. This has completely ruined the experience for me, as I cannot look around and stuff without crashing my dragon into something of falling to the ground. Does anyone know if there’s a version of this mod with the original controls? Also, when my dragon is tamed and standing, it no longer follows me, which I personally quite liked, and wish that feature would also be in the mod. Thanks.

yes, i watched little lizard gaming play with this mod and he jumped from a high place and all his dragons jumped up and tryed catching him and one caught him

it isn’t working for me, I have it in my mods and all, but when I load into minecraft, and I click Mods it doesn’t appear any dragon mod, the mod is in the “mods” folder, but its name is “dragon mounts [idk] 1.10.2”, is it normal?
This is normal because that is the name of the mod.
Click on it, it will teleport to another loaction, when you find it again, leave 1 block to keep the egg in place, and in the block underneath it, place a torch, lever or slab, right underneath the block holding the egg, then mine the block, the egg will fall to the torch and drop it.
I don’t know how to hatch the egg. I made a hatching place, and started right clicking it but #1 it goes out of my hatching place and #2 I’ve been right clicking the heck out of it!
